セブンは和製ポルシェの異名を持つマシーンですね。ロータリーエンジンは、ドイツだか何処かの国が最初開発したが物に成らなかった。そこで、日本がロータリーを研究して物にした訳です。ロータリーエンジンは、三角おむすびがシリンダーの中で回転して動力を伝える。1回で3ヵ所燃料を噴射するので加速は良いが燃費が悪いんですね。ピストンは、職人が絶妙な火加減で焼きを入れてるそうです。また、エンジンが小さいから昭和の頃は、軽自動車に積んだらしいです。アニメ「ヤンキー烈風隊」にもセブンのエンジンを積んだスバル360が出て来ます。まぁ、アニメですが…昔、地元に1000万チューニングした赤のブリスターセブン居ましたよ。フェラーリセブンとか呼ばれてた。今回のセブンはエアロミラーになってますね。純正みたいですが格好いいです。

レビューが無かったので不安でしたが購入したら大正解でした！孫が喜んで毎日遊んでるそうです。トラックの中にミニカーが入るのが楽しいようで詰め込んで遊んでるそうです。耐久性も今のところ大丈夫です。

The Miura is one of the most significant cars in history, very pretty Bertone design and the first retail Supercar. When introduced it was the fastest production car and set the bar for all others. This 1/61 scale version has nice tampo details and just looks great in orange, one of the best new diecast for 2022. Light 29 grams mass. The large rear wheel adds some appeal and comes off well, in this case. Mattel Matchbox did a more true scale version not too long ago so Mattel Hot Wheels may have wanted their own distinct version.

One advantage of Hot Wheels over Tomica is the variety of wheels that the company puts on the cars. Tomica only have a few designs, mostly just normal or sports car wheels, but taking both style and colour into account, HW have dozens. Yet they still have this insistence on often making rear wheels larger than front wheels in many cases when they really shouldn't be. In some designs this fits, but while the proportions, iconic colour scheme and devastating elegance of the Miura are otherwise well reproduced, this element is really not suitable. I do love this model for the most part, but it's really spoiled by both the oversized rear wheels and the choice of wheel on this specific model. Given their recent collaboration with Liberty Walk I feel like this aesthetic would have fitted a model of the LBWK Miura, and this one should have been closer to the original car.
